Low-MOQ Private Label Bags: Planning Colors and Customization
A low-MOQ private label bag order needs a clear quantity breakdown. State how many pieces you want for each style and color, then list the material, logo and construction changes. A minimum quoted for one reference program does not automatically allow any combination of styles, colors and custom components.
Read the color minimum and order minimum together
Zise’s documented shoulder bag reference program has a starting condition of 100 pieces per color and 200 pieces per order. These two figures answer different questions. The color minimum concerns the quantity for a color, while the order minimum concerns the overall order quantity under the agreed specification.
For one style, a request for 100 black and 100 off-white pieces reaches both stated figures. A request for 50 pieces in each of four colors reaches 200 in total but falls below the stated 100-piece color starting point. Both examples are planning arithmetic, not accepted orders.
Ask how the minimum applies to each style and whether the supplier can combine any proposed styles or materials. Do not assume that 200 pieces spread across unrelated constructions qualify for the same terms. The final quotation should record the accepted quantity breakdown.
Choose a reference before dividing the quantity

Record a style code beside each color. For M13P7028, specify the requested colors and quantities, whether you want to retain the reference construction, and your branding requirements. A photographed color is a documented reference option; it does not establish current ready-stock availability.
The shoulder collection includes seven PU references and the canvas M13L6050 reference. They should not be treated as one interchangeable material program. If you want to mix PU and canvas, request a separate review of the material and quantity conditions.
Separate reference adaptations from new development
Color, logo, hardware, shoulder strap and interior pocket changes can be reviewed for these shoulder references. Describe each change so we can assess the actual specification. Retaining a body construction and adding an interior label is a different request from changing the panels, closure and pocket layout.
A special material, custom metal logo, new hardware component or branded packaging may have its own order, tooling or sourcing conditions. Ask which items are included in the bag quotation and which need separate confirmation. The term low MOQ does not establish a fixed unit price or waive development costs.
Use the OEM and ODM guide to describe your development starting point and the logo guide to specify artwork, method and placement.
Send a style-by-color order breakdown
For each proposed style, include the following information in the quotation request:
- Reference code or authorized design, with the construction details you want to retain.
- Material direction, color name or swatch reference, and the quantity for that color.
- Logo method, artwork size and placement, including interior labels and hardware branding.
- Requested strap, pocket, lining or hardware changes.
- Individual packing, barcode data, carton marks and delivery country.
- Requested sample and delivery dates, target price and intended shipping terms where known.
Mark alternative colors as alternatives rather than adding them to the committed order. If you want pricing for two scenarios, separate the quantity lists so the quotation assumptions are clear.
Compare quotations using the same specification
Confirm the material and finish included in each quotation, the quantity split, logo method and packing. Ask whether sample fees, molds, labels, inspection, freight or taxes are included or separately charged. A lower unit figure for a different construction or packing scope does not price the same order.
Get the accepted minimums in writing. If a supplier accepts a lower quantity than its starting condition, ask what changes in the quotation, material selection or schedule. Avoid treating an initial discussion as a confirmed exception.
Check the schedule separately from the order quantity
The supplied shoulder reference conditions include seven-day sampling and a 30-day production lead-time reference. Ask us to confirm the timing for the selected style, material and changes, and clarify when each stage begins. Sample revisions and international transit need their own discussion.
Complete sample review before approving the bulk specification. The shoulder bag sampling guide covers the measurements and change list to prepare. For production review, agree the inspection scope and any specific tests through the quality-control process.
Keep the approved specification for repeat orders
Retain the sample reference, approved material and color, logo artwork, hardware finish and packing specification. For a repeat order, identify what remains unchanged and what needs a new review. Previous terms do not confirm future material availability or pricing; request an updated quotation.
Request a quantity review for your selected style
Send a reference code with your quantities by color and customization list. We can review the proposed order against the documented starting conditions. The handbag collection offers additional development references, with conditions confirmed for the selected project.
Discuss an M13P7028 order or send another shoulder bag quantity breakdown.
